This new on-line gallery has been specifically designed to exhibit the wonderful work of Joy Crampton. Many examples of her colourfully imaginative and impressionistic paintings can be seen on the pages that follow.

Joy lives in Beltinge, near Herne Bay Kent, with her husband Dave. Retirement has finally afforded the opportunity to exploit the talent that she had long been nurturing, and these gorgeous paintings are now being produced in a torrent of creativity. Joy’s influences are solely Mother Nature, coupled with her own vivid imagination. She is not influenced by any other artist.

Creativity is very much in Joy’s blood. She is the daughter of noted pen-and-ink artist, Tom Vine, and writer and poet, Jessie Vine (nee Tomlin).  Other members of her wider family have also produced works of note, and some of these can be seen on the ‘Family Gallery’ page.

All of the paintings are created on heavy duty watercolour paper of approximately A2 size (59.4 cm by 42 cm).  The medium used is largely acrylic paint, plus some gouache, and both gold and silver paint or pen.
